Directions to the Race (DETOUR)

Columbus is currently undergoing improvements to our viaduct and addition of a parkway closing 33rd ave (the back entrance to Central Community College). There are a lot of long distance detours posted for "through traffic", but avoid these detours and keep coming into Columbus, instead using he local detours posted in town.
  • (Grand Island, York, Lincoln) coming from the west (Hwy 30) or south or southeast of Columbus (Hwy 81) please follow the directions listed HERE taking you downtown and around the closed viaduct and avoiding the closed 33rd ave
  • (Fremont, Omaha) coming from the east of Columbus (Hwy 30) please follow directions listed HERE avoiding the closed 33rd ave
  • (Norfolk, Yankton) coming from the North (hwy 81) you'll have no issues following the directions listed HERE
